the front. The apparent 4" gap is for cable room. On the front of this one side open cabinet you buy a piece of plexiglas (.500" thick) and hinge it to swing up. Mount this cabinet on a wall or bench securely. By the way, the cabinet can be made of anything except cardboard. As an alternate idea, if you were to cut the piece of plexiglas into two pieces and hinge each on top, you would have the option of opening which ever section you wanted. There are four (4) more things you should do. The first is to put two (2) louvred vents on the top of the cabinet. Try Sears or your local hardware store for these; the vents are the same kind that output the heating or air conditioning air in your house.
